My name is Jayaseeli Mary. I live with my three daughters.  My husband committed suicide because of the weight of the debts we had taken on to support our family. From that moment on, I struggled to survive, until I received my  Interlife Toolkit. I’m a seamstress now, and I can support my daughters. Sara, the eldest, takes part in the Interlife Children Sponsorship programme, and goes to school; so do the others, who I manage to support on my own. Thanks to the Toolkit our life has changed and now I think everyone should have some happiness. I have already handed over my Toolkit to another woman. I am very happy to have received goodness, and to have done good in my turn.

My name is Arockia Pappy and I am from the village of Mathakottai. My husband has a tender coconut retail business. I help him with his work. I have applied for the Toolkit to improve our tender coconut business. Now I am supported by Interlife and I have received a Toolkit thanks to which I plan to market more tender coconut in the urban area and earn more money to increase our finances. I have two daughters; one is in first grade and the younger one hasn’t started school yet.

My name is Gerina, I am 10 years old, and I am an “untouchable”. That’s why I couldn’t go to school and my mom couldn’t find a job. Thanks to the Interlife Toolkit, my mom now has a small goat farm and I attend school. My favourite colour is blue like the sea, which one day I would like to be able to see.
