who we are
Intelife’s staff consists of a team of experts with 10-year and 20-year experience. Interlife is a non-political, autonomous, independent organization, free from discrimination based on race, culture, ethnicity and religious creed.
Interlife is a not-for-profit organisation active in the field of international cooperation. Its aim is to put an end to poverty and ensure food and financial safety through a model of development that fosters participation and sustainability by focusing on the personal needs and potential of each beneficiary and community.
our values
Interlife is committed to non-discrimination, impartiality (need-based aid, free from political, religious or social distinctions) and sensitivity to local cultures.
We advocate respect for human rights and actively promote participation and dialogue.
We embrace diversity and difference and value the perspectives and contributions of all people and communities.
We firmly believe that everyone deserves good opportunities; we recognize the power people have and our projects prove that everyone can become a great changemaker: we support and transform the commitment of people into effective and lasting change towards a more just and sustainable world.
We act ethically with integrity and transparency: we take responsibility for our action and inaction, setting the highest standards for ourselves and our interventions, and we hold ourselves accountable to the people and communities we work with at a local and global level.
Specificity and uniqueness
We design solutions that are not standardised, but unique, shared and sustainable for each project and intervention, in a “bottom-up” cooperation approach, the pace and methods of which are decided according to the different contexts, timing and needs.
Participation
As a driving force for change, we promote the active participation of local populations in the improvement of their well-being, and we empower and support them in shaping their own process of development.
Responsibility
We believe that the sense of belonging and ownership that allows beneficiaries to be active changemakers is crucial to achieving long-term goals and significant change.
Cooperation
With local communities, donors, institutions, partners and with each stakeholder through constant teamwork built through continuous consultations and sharing.
Transparency
We ensure total accountability and transparency to our beneficiaries and donors. This gives us unexpected closeness and sharing of experiences.
Sustainability and Environment
All our projects are mindful of natural resources and environment protection. Moreover, they ensure a long-term impact and a balanced, responsible and lasting/sustainable growth.
our goals
Through its revolutionary system, the Toolkit model, Interlife aims to trigger a chain reaction for the beginning and development of micro entrepreneurial activities.
Therefore, the different African and Asian beneficiary communities will have the opportunity to shape their process of growth according to their needs and timing.
Our ultimate goal is to support and promote the personal and community empowerment of the people who live in the poorest areas of the world today.
our mission
We develop solutions to create value for the most vulnerable local communities and for our partners, and to enable people to be changemakers and shape their own fair development process.
We aim to combine social innovation and solidarity economy to challenge systemic inequality, which keeps people trapped in poverty and injustice and prevent them from realizing their potential and from accessing their rights, the protection they need and the opportunities everyone deserves.
We work with a comprehensive approach, in a transparent, efficient and people-oriented way, with the active participation of local communities, to end poverty and to ensure food safety, vocational training, employment, education, health, human rights and environmental protection.
We connect people across borders in solidarity to replicate opportunities and resources so as to allow the most vulnerable ones (particularly people from the lowest castes, untouchables, youth at risk, poor children, orphans, working children and/or young victims of the Sumangali Scheme) to build a safe and better life.
We advocate change by supporting personal and community empowerment and our ambition is to trigger a lasting impact for a better future around the world.
